ENCS Career Prep Program
Prepare for Internships and Career Search
The ENCS Career Prep Program is offered to help students within the the electrical engineering, mechanical engineering and computer science programs prepare for internships and employment. Designed to meet the expectations of industry, and provide professional development for students.
Professional development workshops provide needed skills and students receive feedback from industry professionals. While this is not an internship placement program, students do meet with potential future employers through the workshops, and student resumes are shared with regional employers.
Graduates who had internships are 90 percent more likely to get job offers than graduates who didn’t, according to NACE. (National Association of Colleges and Employers)”
