US Army Corps of Engineers Smart Scholarship – Application window open until Dec. 4, 2026. Opportunity to have tuition paid while working for USACE/Dept. of Defense, receive stipends and internships and a civilian career after graduation.

NW Electronics Design & Manufacturing Expo – Sept. 23, 2026, Hillsboro, OR. Students are invited to attend. Speakers include Jamie Hyneman (from MythBusters). Network and learn from industry professionals. Admission w/student discount is $20 and includes lunch.

Research opportunity with Legacy Health Research/Devers Eye Institute, Portland, OR – seeking two long-term part-time student volunteers for one-year positions. Projects in neuroscience, general biomedical science and computer imaging.  Students can have backgrounds in health/premed, computer science, computer engineering or related fields. Researchers will gain hands-on experience in medical research by working with the team to identify anatomical structures, analyze biomedical imaging data, and contribute to ongoing research projects and scientific manuscripts. Poster Presentation Opportunity – Pacific NW Software Quality Conference, Portland, OR The PNWSQ Conference is October 12-14 and students can attend and/or submit and present a poster on current research or project work.
