Prepare for Internship and Career Searches
The ENCS Career Prep Program is offered to help students within the the electrical engineering, mechanical engineering and computer science programs prepare for internships and employment. The program is designed to meet the expectations of industry employers, and to provide professional development for students.
Professional development workshops provide needed skills expected by industry employers. Students receive feedback from industry professionals in addition to campus career support professionals. While this is not an internship placement program, students do meet with potential future employers through the workshops, and student resumes are shared with regional employers.
Graduates who had internships are 90 percent more likely to get job offers than graduates who didn’t, according to NACE. (National Association of Colleges and Employers)”
